Job Description
WMUR, the ABC affiliate in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Reporter to create compelling stories and drive news coverage. The role involves investigative journalism, interviewing sources, and developing stories from scratch. The Reporter will be responsible for handling live shots, building relationships with sources, and working under pressure. They will report to the News Director and contribute to the publication of content through various platforms.

Requirements

  • Professional or college reporting experience
  • Experience with enterprise reporting and ability to uncover details
  • Write clear, correct, compelling copy that supports images
  • Operate mobile transmission devices and use latest technology
  • Work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends
  • Have and exhibit unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards
  • Valid driver's license and a clear driving record
