Job Description
The Local P&D Driver (Class A - Fully Endorsed) is responsible for operating a tractor/trailer in the transportation of freight, adhering to Company, Federal, State and Local laws, and FMCSA regulations. The driver will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain records, and provide professional and courteous service to customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
  • Registration with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Residence within 75 miles of the domiciled terminal and/or work assignment
  • HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements
  • Ability to operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb. vehicle)
  • Ability to push or pull a loaded pallet jack and/or hand truck with a minimum load of 70 lbs.
