Role OverviewWe are seeking motivated and safety-focused Wind Technicians to join our team at the Reading site in Reading, KS. This role is part of a customer-supported regional staffing model, providing a stable home site with potential opportunities to support nearby regional sites as the program continues to develop.
What You Will Do
Technicians will work alongside strong leadership and field teams while contributing directly to safe, reliable turbine operations. This includes inspecting tools and equipment, inspecting the exterior and physical integrity of wind turbine towers, climbing towers to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair turbine equipment, and performing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

Requirements
- Participate in daily safety meetings and Job Safety Analyses
- Inspect tools and equipment to ensure safe operation
- Inspect the exterior and physical integrity of wind turbine towers
- Climb towers to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair turbine equipment
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Test electrical components and systems
- Replace worn or malfunctioning components
- Follow maintenance manuals and standard operating procedures
- Complete written and electronic work reports accurately
- Maintain end-of-day housekeeping standards
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
