Role Overview

The Localization Specialist supports the delivery of high-quality multilingual content by managing translated content assets, tracking quality-related feedback, and monitoring vendor performance. This role works closely with localization project managers, language service providers, and technical writing team members to ensure translated content is delivered accurately, on schedule, and in compliance with organizational standards.

What You Will Do

Manage and maintain translated content within the Content Management System (CMS) and the Translation Management System (TMS). Coordinate the import, export, and publication of multilingual content throughout the localization project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, translation, localization, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the translation, localization, or language services industry
  • Experience with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, Translation Management System (TMS), with XTM and/or Trados Enterprise strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with DITA XML structured authoring, Content Management Systems (CMS), with Tridion Docs strongly preferred
  • Understanding of translation quality management processes and localization best practices
