Role OverviewConrad Yelvington Distributors is seeking a Locomotive Intern to receive training and mentoring in the Equipment/Locomotive Department. The intern will gain practical, hands-on experience while supporting the company’s ongoing commitment to excellence in locomotive equipment performance and safety.
What You Will Do
The intern will work under the direction of the CYD Locomotive Equipment Manager to understand different principal components, assist in maintaining a high level of safety compliance, and interact with other locomotive mechanics to resolve mechanical issues.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate degree program preferably in Environmental Health and Safety or similar major.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience and proficiency using the internet and Microsoft Office Suite of products.
- Strong desire to work in the industry.
