Role OverviewWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Supply Tech/Logistician II to join our team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and preserving government property accountability in accordance with the NAVSUP Publication P723 for NWCF-Stock Material.
What You Will Do
Execute and maintain government property accountability in accordance with NAVSUP P-723 and NAVSUP P-485. Process property transactions, generate and validate documentation, perform routine audits and reconciliations, and identify and resolve discrepancies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of DoW logistics and property management systems. Experience with NAVSUP P-723 / P-485 property accountability procedures and supporting DoD or Navy logistics operations is a plus.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a logistics or warehouse role
- Familiarity with financial management principles as they apply to logistics and inventory
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Navy Electronic Retrograde Management System (ERMS)
- Familiarization with NAVY CAV RP and CMPRO a plus
- Experience with database management
- Knowledge of property accountability systems, with a strong preference for experience with NAVSUP P723 and P485
