Job Description
Role Overview

The Logistics Administrator will serve as the administrative hub for the Logistics Department, coordinating shipping and receiving documentation, transportation, customer communications, and logistics records to support safe, accurate, and on-time operations. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role and proficiency with Microsoft Office. The Logistics Administrator will work Monday to Friday, 8a to 4p, and will be paid $23.50 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience.

What You Will Do

Key responsibilities include receiving and delivering all deliveries and mail, preparing and labeling outgoing packages, coordinating outgoing package pick up with FedEx, UPS, etc., making necessary entries in QAD, communicating with vendors and accounting/finance departments, building, reviewing, and entering shippers into QAD, confirming shippers to invoice customers, matching shippers with COA information, preparing and creating appropriate paperwork and lot numbers to accompany each shipment, completing customs/border paperwork, completing material movements in QAD, signing for deliveries, notifying recipients, and receiving item purchase order numbers into QAD, preparing and processing outgoing mail, purchasing supplies, maintaining purchase records, and processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years' experience in an administrative role
