Job Description
The Logistics Services Manager, General Services Agency is responsible for the overall administration, development, and management of countywide sustainable transportation programs, and is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the County’s transportation, parking, motor vehicle, messenger operations, and other programs and services.

Requirements

  • The equivalent of two years of full-time experience as a Sustainability Project Manager in the Alameda County classified service
  • Completion of the Alameda County Management Academy “Management and Supervision Certificate Program” may substitute for six (6) months of the required qualifying experience
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public policy, urban planning, public or business administration, or a directly related field
  • The equivalent of five years full-time increasingly responsible experience in the field of transportation, fleet management, parking operations, or climate action or related area including two years of managerial experience with direct supervisory responsibility
  • Possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle Operator’s license
