Job Description
Chemelex is seeking a Global Logistics Specialist to support its global logistics strategy, execution, and commercial performance. The role will operate at a tactical level, supporting a global carrier strategy, contract negotiations, and ensuring consistent execution across all regions.
Requirements
3-10 years of experience in global logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
Proven track record in carrier sourcing, contract negotiation, and freight optimization.
Experience across multi-modal transportation (parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean, air).
Experience supporting global freight spend and supplier performance.
Strong analytical and financial acumen with a data-driven approach to decision making.
Experience working within a global SIOP or integrated business planning environment.
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), visibility platforms, and BI tools.
Background in manufacturing or complex global supply chains.
Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute at a detailed, operational level.
Strong commercial mindset with negotiation and influencing skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders globally.
High ownership mentality with a focus on results, accountability, and continuous improvement.
