Role OverviewThe Logistics Specialist role exists to ensure the efficient and effective management of logistics operations within the company. The Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation logistics, including coordinating with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring compliance with TMS procedures.

Key responsibilities include transportation coordination, compliance, TMS management, billing oversight, process improvement, vendor management, reporting, cost management, and risk management.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management
- 3–5 years of experience in transportation or logistics coordination within a manufacturing, distribution, or 3PL environment
- Experience managing carriers, 3PLs, or freight networks
- Proficiency in SAP and Transporeon (TMS)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
