Role OverviewWe seek a Long-term Substitute Latin faculty member to implement innovative, inclusive curricula and support students in developing their linguistic understanding, inquiry, and critical thinking skills.
What You Will Do
Teach three sections of Middle and Upper School Latin courses, serve on a grade-level team, and support students in various capacities.

Requirements
- Experience teaching Latin in Middle and Upper School
- Mastery in the subject matter (a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required)
- Ability to communicate high expectations and standards for student learning
- Understanding of and sensitivity to adolescent challenges
- Ability to think broadly and creatively about student-centered learning
- Commitment to providing detailed feedback on student work in a timely manner
- Commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion
- Ability to scope and sequence student learning experiences in collaboration with other faculty
- Excellent verbal and written skills
