Role OverviewThe Long-Term Substitute Teacher serves in place of a classroom during an extended period of time, responsible for instruction, lesson planning, classroom management, and supporting student learning in a consistent and engaging manner.
What You Will Do
The Long-Term Substitute Teacher will plan for instruction, provide appropriate materials and resources, use effective instructional methods, and maintain current and accurate records according to school policies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in subject taught or related field from an accredited American university or equivalent in a foreign country
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Meet the minimum requirements for teaching field as set forth by the Diocese and TCCED
- Maintain compliance with the Diocese of Austin Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) policies
- Meet staff development guidelines as set forth by the Diocese and school administration
