Role OverviewThe Loss Control Consultant will support the Albany, NY region by providing value-added services to independent agency partners. This includes conducting multi-line risk assessments for both prospective and existing accounts. The role requires building positive relationships with local agents and their clients, conducting risk evaluation surveys, and providing loss control servicing.
What You Will Do
Conduct risk evaluation surveys, develop and maintain positive relationships with agents and clients, provide loss control servicing, prepare detailed reports, and review claims and loss trends to initiate loss mitigation efforts.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work remotely, knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, and time management skills. Proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools and related software are also required.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or applicable science, or related experience and training
- Minimum of 5 years loss control and/or safety experience
- Professional designations such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Certified Risk Manager (CRM)
