Job Description
Under limited supervision and with significant independent judgment inspects insured properties to evaluate physical and operational conditions and promote safety programs.

Requirements

  • Inspect physical properties and operations to evaluate physical conditions and operational, safety practices, and hazardous situations.
  • Prepare written report of findings and recommendations for correction of unsafe conditions.
  • Develop recommendations to correct uncontrolled exposures, including acceptable alternatives.
  • Consult with insureds to control losses and improve safety.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety activities and programs, in conjunction with the insured, to control losses and improve safety.
  • Provide verbal and technical advice to assist in compliance.
  • May provide leadership to junior staff by assigning tasks, training and providing guidance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
