Role OverviewThe Loss Prevention Forensics Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting operational and financial loss trends across the company through data analytics, exception reporting, and forensic review of transactional and operational data. This position provides actionable insights that help Operations leadership reduce shrink, improve inventory accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and protect company assets.
What You Will Do
Analyze transactional, inventory, fuel, cash, and operational data to identify loss trends and risk indicators. Detect and monitor exceptions related to shrink, cash variances, inventory discrepancies, fuel losses, refund abuse, discount misuse, lottery exceptions, and other operational irregularities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Three or more years of experience in retail analytics, loss prevention analytics, business intelligence, internal audit, financial analysis, or convenience store operations
- Experience in multi-unit retail environments preferred
- Convenience store, fuel retail, grocery, or restaurant experience preferred
