Role OverviewJoin our Loss Prevention team as a Loss Prevention Officer at Wild Dunes Resort. You will be responsible for performing daily functions to ensure protection of property assets, colleagues, guests, and property. You will maintain logs, certifications, and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures.
What You Will Do
Patrols and monitors an assigned area, reports suspicious activities to local authorities, monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds. You will also contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency, investigate reports of suspicious activity, reasonably detain persons suspected of criminal activity, and escort discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.

Requirements
- Previous loss prevention experience is highly preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
- Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
- Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand & arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching & fine manipulation occasionally.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
