Role OverviewPhysically install category structured cabling distribution systems, install telecommunication outlets, cables, fire stopping, and supports. Perform new and retro-fit Commercial Data, Voice, Fiber Optic and Paging cabling installations.
What You Will Do
Install, terminate and certify both multi-mode and single-mode fiber, install, identify and terminate various types of cable and wire, read and interpret engineered drawings, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
Why It Might Be a Fit
A strong working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards, ability to install, test, modify, and repair support equipment, proficient with trade hand and power tools, and capable of performing physical labor.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- BICSI TECH certification
- 4+ years of experience with Low Voltage Systems Structured Cabling
