Low Voltage/Telecom Specialist

As a Low Voltage/Telecom Specialist, you will be part of HDR's Building Engineering Services Group, designing critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive. You will work with a team of mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering experts to solve complex design challenges with precision, creativity, and collaboration.

What You Will Do

Your tasks will include completing project tasks, meeting with clients to evaluate and define customer needs, developing project-related construction documents, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining knowledge of current industry product offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
• 4 years of related work experience
• Strong general engineering knowledge of either telecommunication or electronic security systems
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks independently, on schedule and under budget
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work in a high-velocity environment managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Strong computer skills and a proficiency or able to work in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in Revit, AutoCAD is a bonus
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and design standards and practices
• Strong desire for continuous learning and professional education
