LPN - Care Nurse Supervisor Harbor

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved L.P.N. program (per state requirements)
• Valid, unrestricted nursing license
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position highly desirable
• Demonstrates good supervision and management skills & behaviors
• Understands and can develop Resident Care Service Plan
• Understands advanced directives and end-of-life care
• Possesses knowledge about the assisted living philosophy
• Understands nursing function in assisted living
• Understands quality of care/life objectives
• Possesses current CPR, First Aid, and Heimlich certification, if required
• Demonstrates working knowledge of state regulations
• Possess knowledge of policies in the resident handbook
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to relate in a positive and professional way to a diverse resident and employee population
• Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
• Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality regarding residents, staff and the Community
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple duties and responsibilities
• Demonstrate proficiency in documenting in an resident electronic health record (EHR). Proficient using MS office
• Proficient in using state audit compliance tool
