Role OverviewA licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for direct and/or indirect care of the patient under the direction of an RN or physician. This position is involved in a team-based approach to care.
What You Will Do
Provide care to patients, manage the practice's patient population, participate in quality improvement process, and perform performance evaluation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure to practice practical nursing in Tennessee
- BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward
