Role Overview

A 5-Star quality rehabilitation and nursing facility is looking for nurses to join their team. The LPN will provide direct nursing care to customers and supervise nursing assistants. The objective is to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

What You Will Do

The LPN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring that nursing procedures and protocols are followed. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis, attending continuing education programs, and participating in customer care plan conferences.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Leadership and supervisory ability
  • Ability to deal tactfully with customers, family members, and personnel
