Role OverviewThe LPN Dispensing Nurse is instrumental in patient treatment and recovery from opioid use disorder. They provide high-quality, safe, and efficient dispensing of medication to patients under the direction of the Medical Director or Physician. The LPN is responsible for thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of the patient's symptoms, responses, and progress.
What You Will Do
The LPN Dispensing Nurse will work under the supervision of the Medical Director and the Clinic Director, preparing and administering medication as ordered, maintaining accurate accounting of medication received and dispensed, and documenting nursing care provided.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current LPN license in North Carolina or a compact license
- 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment program, or addiction recovery field (preferable)
- No history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
