Role OverviewProvides safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families in an inpatient acute care setting. Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio board of nursing. Completes required documentation and delivers effective relationship-based nursing care.
What You Will Do
Delivers technical skills in care delivery, demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration, and develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Performs other duties as assigned.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 2+ years of nursing experience, knowledge of LPN scope of practice, and completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program. Level II requires 18 CNE's per year, 3 Peer Reviews, Committee Involvement, and 5 criteria with evidence of each.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program
- 2+ years Nursing Experience (Level II only)
- Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing
