What You Will Do
The Surgical Procedural LPN establishes and maintains the sterile field, prepares surgical instruments and supplies, and assists the surgeon and surgical team throughout operative procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have clinical proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques, and one to two years of procedural nursing experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program
- Clinical proficiency in sterile and aseptic techniques
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) completed prior to going to the unit and maintained going forward
