Role Overview

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in delivering quality resident care while supervising the daily nursing activities of assigned staff. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Nursing, the LVN helps ensure the highest standards of clinical care are maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

What You Will Do

Supervise day-to-day nursing activities and direct care staff, provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care, monitor and assess resident conditions, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program or approved Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program
  • Current, active, and unencumbered LVN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, long-term care community, or related healthcare setting
