Job Description
Job Summary
Production of Poly–ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include operation of saws and packaging equipment. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, sheet length, and linear feet.
Pay Range: $24.00 to $25.00
Duties and Responsibilities:
Equipment setup, and upkeep of saws and associated equipment.
Operate and troubleshoot, Saw control consoles.
Operate and troubleshoot, crosscut, take critical measurements
Maintain the use of mold release.
Communicate product attributes to process operator for correction.
Attend various meetings to provide input on processing problems and changes to process and equipment.
Ensure quality and proper facer makings.
Housekeeping of Plant inside and out.
Assist in training of new team members.
Safe/Proper disposal of waste chemical.
Maintaining 5S Checklist
Fill in other areas of the plant as required
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
Knowledge and Certified in Lock-out, Tag-out Program, Forklift, and Confined Space
Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant’s general safety policies.
Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
Ability to operate mobile equipment safely

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent, technical school preferred
Equipment Used:
forklifts, facer hoist, control panels, batching console, equipment.
Office equipment (computer, phone, kiosk)
Computer systems (CMMS, SAP, MS programs)
Working Conditions:
Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
Noise of industrial machinery
Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required
Days/shift vary based on facility need
Fast paced 24/7 operation
Travel Requirement
Overnight travel up to 10%, this will include travel to other facilities and to trainings
