Job Description
As a Machine Assistant (Die Cutter) at Packaging Corporation of America (PCA), you will work as part of a team to increase productivity, decrease downtime and waste in a manufacturing operation. You will assist all jobs on the plant floor, follow safety rules, and maintain equipment per 5S standards. You will also set-up and operate machine to produce product according to customer specifications, troubleshoot and perform minor repair and preventative maintenance procedures, and complete necessary reports in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
