Role OverviewResponsible for safely operating production machines, setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to meet customer demand. Work safely, follow GMPs, and learn quality procedures.
What You Will Do
Operate machinery at available capacity and speed, improve set up times and downtime, and train and assist co-workers. Complete reports and turn in maintenance work orders.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice, and be proactive in maintenance and housekeeping of equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the packaging industry (paper, plastics, converting)
- 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation
- Lift Truck Operator License (may be required)
