Role OverviewClarios is hiring a Machine Operator for the graveyard shift at its Canby, OR facility, which manufactures automotive batteries. This is a full-time, union position with a schedule of 11:30 pm to 8:00 am, Monday through Friday, with required daily overtime and weekend availability.
What You Will Do
Operate semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries in a fast-paced environment. Make machine adjustments, troubleshoot equipment issues, perform operator preventative maintenance, conduct visual inspections and quality checks, operate pallet jacks, maintain schedule and inventory accuracy, and follow all safety, quality, environmental, and production standards.

The role offers a starting rate of $21.50/hour with pay progression, shift differential, quarterly bonuses, and total annual average earnings over $80,000/year. Requirements
- 1+ year of assembly or similar experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills
- Ability to work daily overtime up to 12 hours and weekends as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in an industrial environment
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification
