Job Description

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery and equipment used for the fabrication of structural steel and tank products.

Requirements

Ability to competently operate a majority of equipment in an operational area, performing with accuracy, consistency, and with minimal supervision and rework.
Ability to lead and direct groups of employees to successful task completion
Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Programming CNC equipment
Operating CNC equipment
Working knowledge of basic lifting and rigging techniques.
Able to identify needed material
Able to read shop drawings
Plan and organize work to meet deadlines.
Understand and follow oral and written directions.
Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
Effectively operate common layout tools.
Ability to work with others.
Ability to work safely and accurately.
Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
