Machine Operator 21592-1 Owego NY 1st Shift

Requirements

• Operate light-duty machine tools such as small lathes, power mills, drills, punch presses, power brakes, shears, saws, and extruding machines
• Set up machining equipment and make necessary adjustments for production operations
• Perform routine maintenance on machines as required
• Use gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure and verify close tolerances
• Inspect work in process and completed parts for quality and accuracy
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality control and statistical process control procedures
• Operate numerically controlled (NC/CNC) machines when applicable
• Follow production schedules and maintain operational efficiency
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
