Job Description
As a Machinist 1 at Daniel Defense, you will be responsible for maintaining cell productivity, troubleshooting production problems, and operating machinery. You will also be required to maintain proper housekeeping of work areas and follow all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with typically 2-4 years of prior manufacturing experience or a combination of related experience, education and/or training
  • Proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job
  • Working knowledge of metalworking tools, work holding and other common concepts, practices and procedures within the field
  • Teamwork and ability to cooperate and work proactively with others
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, machine tool programming languages (G & M codes) and blueprint reading
