Job Description
This is a second shift role at JOA, where we manufacture parts per print specifications utilizing a variety of machining centers safely. We think ahead for ourselves and our customers. We openly share to empower each other, embracing the unknown with a commitment to conquer any challenge.

Requirements

  • Program, setup, and run variety of machine tools to manufacture parts according to specifications.
  • Check all diameters and dimensions.
  • Study blueprint and plan efficient way to manufacture parts.
  • Use overhead cranes to lift large parts or materials safely.
  • Measure parts using precision measuring equipment.
  • Maintain machine shop equipment.
  • Train other workers on the proper and safe operation of equipment.
  • Collaborate with others to proactively develop solutions.
  • Perform machine maintenance.
  • Assist in establishing procedures to manufacture parts more efficiently.
  • Deburrs parts when time allows.
