Job Description
Machinist 5, 1st Shift. Perform advanced machining operations on mills, lathes, and other shop equipment, design and fabricate custom tooling and fixtures, collaborate with design engineers to bring prototypes from concept to finished part, and execute repair machining to restore essential production equipment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with CNC programming
  • Experience performing manual inspections using classic manual inspection gages
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and engineering drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
  • Ability to lift 28 lbs
