Role Overview

Acts as lead role for mail services, possessing extensive knowledge of applications of U.S. Postal Service regulations and pricing guidelines. Coordinates and processes bulk mailing projects. Provides support to campus materials management program using material handling tools to distribute packages, mail, and other materials on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.

What You Will Do

Sorts inbound and outbound mail and packages, and organizes according to policies and procedures. Supports Shipping and Receiving, Mail Services, Copy Center, and other areas, providing timely and accurate distribution of materials.

Requirements

  • At least two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in office work or in work in which the processing of incoming and/or outgoing mail was a major duty.
  • Knowledge of standard maintenance procedures followed in connection with mail-processing and handling equipment.
  • Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License (based on assignment).
