Job Description
Mail Room Clerk III role involves managing mail and package distribution, performing clerical and administrative duties, and supporting departmental needs.

Requirements

  • Sorts and distributes incoming interoffice and US mail.
  • Accepts and delivers incoming packages (UPS/FedEx/Office Depot).
  • Applies postage to outgoing mail and processes outgoing UPS shipments.
  • Performs various clerical, administrative, and basic general duties including data processing, record and file creation and maintenance, mail distribution, package delivery, telephone reception, invoice processing, and administrative support for the department.
  • Demonstrates a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
  • Produces a variety of correspondence, reports, and presentations using the appropriate office equipment and software.
  • Demonstrates sound internal and external customer service.
  • Follows up with customers when appropriate.
  • Uses effective communication skills with good judgment.
  • Supports the department’s administrative needs, including maintaining appointment calendars, meeting scheduling, and travel arrangements.
