Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, support, and optimize DB2 databases in a z/OS environment, working closely with application, infrastructure, and support teams.

Requirements

  • Install, configure, and maintain DB2 for z/OS environments
  • Manage tablespaces, indexes, buffer pools, and storage structures
  • Monitor and tune DB2 performance using tools (e.g., Omegamon, Query Monitor)
  • Provide L2/L3 support for production incidents
  • Manage DB2 security (GRANT/REVOKE, RACF integration)
  • Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements
