Role OverviewThis job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities will span multiple systems supporting Mainframe (System z) Storage projects and activities with varying degrees of complexity – includes build, development, implementation, maintenance, operations and client support. Participate in 7x24 on-call rotation.

Requirements
- 7–12+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise mainframe storage environments
- Proven experience in 24x7, mission-critical, highly regulated production environments
- Experience operating at scale (multi-data center, multi-region, global firms)
- Strong understanding of z/OS I/O architecture (CHPIDs, control units, paths)
- FICON protocols and multi-pathing concepts
- I/O performance diagnostics (RMF, SMF, DCOLLECT)
- Experience working closely with z/OS systems programmers
