Job Description
The Maintenance Director is responsible for maintaining the facility's physical plant and equipment in safe operating condition, managing employees, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Collects, reviews, and prioritizes maintenance requisitions
  • Establishes and conducts scheduled maintenance
  • Maintains and tests emergency power systems
  • Performs daily duties of maintenance staff
  • Monitors temperatures and repairs equipment
  • Communicates with residents, families, and legal representatives
  • Monitors staff performance and quality assurance
  • Develops and updates maintenance policies and procedures
  • Completes required documentation and record keeping
  • Hires and retains qualified maintenance staff
  • Participates in the development of the department budget
