Maintenance - Boiler Operator

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey Blue Seal (1-C) Stationary Engineer
• Minimum 5 years of experience operating and maintaining boilers above 500 HP in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills involving boilers, pumps, piping systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and utility equipment
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, compressors, and utility support equipment
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, operating manuals, and safety procedures
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office for operational logs, recordkeeping, and reporting
• Experience using CMMS systems and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively in high-pressure situations
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as required
• Decisive, pro-active, self-motivated, and assertive
• Strong interpersonal and developed communication skills
• Data analysis and identification of trends
• Internal customer focus with the ability to adapt to the variable demands of the business
• Ability to demonstrate working under initiative and think things through to solution
• Ability to work under own supervision
