Job Description
Maintenance Assistant position at Georgetowne Place, a premier retirement community in Fort Wayne, Indiana, providing quality care to residents in Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. The role involves general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the community, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment. The Maintenance Assistant is expected to maintain organization of all storage and equipment areas, and perform daily and as assigned painting projects.

Requirements

  • Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred
  • Familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required
  • Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful
