Job Description
USCS is seeking a Maintenance Automation Supervisor to assist with the commissioning of automated material handling equipment and warehouse control systems. The successful candidate will supervise and mentor automation technicians, provide guidance on system layouts and schematics, and troubleshoot automated and material handling equipment.

Requirements

  • Technical Associates Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of project management experience in automated material handling and logistics applications
  • PLC, VFD, HMI, AGV, VGV, AC Motor Controls, Robotics knowledge, including programming and configuration
  • 3+ years of engineering experience supporting, commissioning, and troubleshooting PLC/PC industrial control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
  • Ability to schedule own tasks and handle all facets of assigned projects independently and with minimal supervision
  • Safety orientation with high voltage power supplies
  • Hands-on experience with industrial networks
  • Experience and skill in analyzing control systems and troubleshooting issues
  • Root cause analysis / problem-solving skills
  • Supervision
