Role OverviewThe Maintenance Director performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and maintenance records as instructed. They coordinate maintenance services with department managers to ensure building and equipment performance without interruption. The role requires knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and blueprint interpretation.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include performing fire safety equipment tests, inspecting building systems, and maintaining the building in good repair and compliance with local, state, and federal laws. The Maintenance Director may be required to drive for company business and maintain resident confidentiality.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has demonstrated HVAC repair experience, intermediate skillset in electric and plumbing repair, and knowledge of water heaters, generators, commercial kitchen equipment, and refrigeration. Basic computer literacy and a positive attitude toward the elderly are also required.
