Job Description
Blend is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to perform deep analysis on their extensive datasets. This role involves data extraction, analysis, and interpretation, providing critical insights for business strategy. The Data Engineer will be a key partner to the data engineering team and focus on delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities from large, complex datasets.
  • Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analytical projects and ad-hoc requests.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and generating insights from raw data.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and the data engineering team.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards.
  • Present findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to the improvement of data quality and the understanding of data lineage.
  • Strong expertise in SQL with the ability to write complex queries, perform aggregations, and optimize performance for large-scale data.
  • Strong expertise in Python for data analysis, including experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and how data is structured.
  • Proven experience with data engineering concepts and practices (e.g., ETL/ELT) is highly desirable.
