Maintenance Engineer

Requirements

• Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner
• Comply at all times with Peachtree Hospitality Management Standards and regulations
• Maintain regular attendance standards, as required by scheduling
• Have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly
• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders
• Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters
• Maintain the building exterior and 'curb appeal'
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms
• Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests
• Operation of heavy machinery
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
• Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment
• Perform maintenance work orders in a timely manner to maintain guest satisfaction
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and storage rooms
• Perform other duties as requested by management
• Attend or all/training/meetings as required by management
