Role OverviewThe Maintenance Foreman provides on-site leadership and coordination of evening shift maintenance operations for the Duke Transit fleet. They direct and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure fleet availability, safety, and readiness for service. In the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, they assume acting supervisory responsibilities to support continuity of operations.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Foreman coordinates and oversees evening shift maintenance operations, assigns and prioritizes preventive maintenance and repair activities, and monitors vehicle service status. They direct maintenance staff, address operational needs, and provide direction and assistance related to daily work activities.

The ideal candidate has three years of experience in transportation services, a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement, and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
