Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic at JBS USA in Omaha, Nebraska. Responsible for inspecting and testing machinery, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical controls.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2-3 years of industrial electrical experience in a food industry environment
  • 2-3 years of ammonia refrigeration operation in a food industry environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to climb ladders, lift heavy objects, work with hand and power tools, and shop machines
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/packaging equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, labeling equipment, and conveyors
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and some weekends
