Role OverviewJoin our Engineering team as a Maintenance I at Grand Hyatt Kauai. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance I with strong refrigeration experience to support daily operations.
What You Will Do
Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, perform mechanical equipment preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and provide leadership and training to team members.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong Commercial Refrigeration background, EPA 608 Universal Certification, A2L Certification, and experience with HVAC/R systems and mechanical troubleshooting are required. Leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are also essential.
Requirements
- Strong Commercial Refrigeration background (5 years minimum)
- EPA 608 Universal Certification
- A2L Certification
- Experience with HVAC/R systems and mechanical troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and support team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Hospitality maintenance experience preferred
- Trades license or certification preferred but not required
