Job Description
The Maintenance Machinist/Repair O46 Facilities position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairing of mechanical tools, air tools, pump and hydraulic equipment. The selected candidate will work with minimal supervision, be a team player, and have a solid understanding of pumps, motors, boiler maintenance, and other equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and work in confined spaces
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT
  • Basic knowledge of plant operations, pipefitting, and troubleshooting control systems
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Previous military experience with boiler maintenance and repair and associated systems is a plus
  • Experience repairing and maintaining 600 psi and above marine type boilers is preferred
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining centrifugal pump systems
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining gearboxes and drive trains
  • Previous millwright experience
  • River water systems and burner management systems is a plus
