Role Overview

As a Maintenance Manager for Heatherwood, you are the driving force in providing great service to our residents in a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment. You will maintain the properties interior and exterior standards, support NYC Local Law Compliance, and manage the day-to-day maintenance expenses of the community.

What You Will Do

Apply a “Safety First” approach to everyday tasks, maintain property standards, support compliance, manage maintenance expenses, and train maintenance technicians.

Requirements

  • A minimum experience of 5+ years in a supervisory role in multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance, or similar field experience
  • A proven track record of managing maintenance associates
  • Experienced in managing 3rd Party porter, concierge, and doorman services
  • Operate with professionalism and integrity
  • A customer first approach to providing world class maintenance and service
  • Strong time management and ability to implement and communicate timelines to the field team for timely task execution
  • Ability to manage multiple projects daily and communicate time frames, obstacles, and resolutions to the larger team
  • Strong vendor management experience includes communicating schedules, providing materials, project execution and vendor accountability
  • Advanced understanding of computer and smart phone skills
  • Balance between field and administrative workload
  • Flexibility to respond to emergency issues after hours and on weekends
  • Attention to detail and consistently doing the job right the first time
  • Universal HVAC Refrigerant Certificate, Certificate of Fitness, low pressure boiler license, CPO Certificate
  • Valid driver’s license
